Gyll's Notes

Goals for the Hellion rework were the following:

  • Tone down her overall power level slightly, especially YAWP and Iron Swan
  • Bring her “adrenaline” mechanic more to the forefront as something you really have to think about and manage
  • Consolidate her attacks to allow for more build variety

Generally I’ve tried to ensure that every bleed/blight/mark character has at least one legitimate build that can function without using bleed/blight/mark, but I decided while working on my big 2.3 patch to allow one character per damage type who was “all in” on their damage type, which became Hellion, Shieldbreaker, and Arbalest.
