Gyll's Notes

A main goal of these hero reworks is to increase the amount of ways you can build a party, and the biggest limitation to that in vanilla is the lack of viable main healers. So I knew that I wanted to make the Antiquarian a viable main healer without losing the flavor of the civilian/antiquer. Another principle of the mod is to keep as many legitimate/beloved vanilla strategies intact as possible, so the rework needed to still be a useable in its original role as a weak hero that generates extra gold. From these restrictions came the idea for the Antiquarian to get items that could be sold for gold or used to power up her skills.

All of her skills have been changed with these goals in mind. She is meant to be about 75% of the strength of a normal hero unpowered, and about 150% when powered up. “Get Down!” and “Protect Me” are unaffected by the power-ups and function at closer to a normal power level, because being scared and hiding are things that come naturally to the Antiquarian.
